The working principle of shunt collecting valve

Shunt collecting valve also known as: synchronous valve, is a set of hydraulic shunt valve, collecting valve function in one of the independent hydraulic devices. Is the hydraulic valve shunt valve, collector valve, one-way shunt valve, one-way collector valve and proportional shunt valve. Synchronous valve is mainly used in double cylinder and multi cylinder synchronous control hydraulic system. There are many ways to realize synchronous motion, but the synchronous control hydraulic system with shunt collecting valve and synchronous valve has many advantages, such as simple structure, low cost, easy manufacturing and strong reliability, so the synchronous valve has been widely used in the hydraulic system. The shunt collecting valve synchronization is speed synchronization, that is, when two cylinders or multiple cylinders are under different loads, the shunt collecting valve through the internal pressure and flow sensitive parts of automatic adjustment, so that the cylinder movement to keep synchronized.


The shunt collecting valve is divided into fixed shunt collecting valve, adjustable shunt collecting valve and self-regulating shunt collecting valve according to the adjustment mode. The fixed structure synchronous valve can be divided into reversing piston type and hook type two structures. Shunt collecting valve according to the flow distribution mode can also be divided into: equal flow type and proportional flow type, proportional flow is often used in 2:1 flow distribution mode.


Shunting and collecting valve is mainly used in hydraulic double cylinder and multi cylinder synchronous control system. There are many methods to realize synchronous movement, but the synchronous control hydraulic system using shunt collector valve has many advantages, such as simple structure, low cost, design, complete set, easy debugging and use, strong reliability, so the shunt collector valve has been widely used in the hydraulic system.


The role of the shunt valve is to make the hydraulic system by the same oil source to supply the same flow to more than two executive components (equal flow), or according to a certain proportion to the two executive components supply flow (proportional flow), in order to achieve the speed of the two executive components to keep synchronous or constant ratio relationship. The function of the collector valve is to collect equal flow or proportional oil return from the two actuators to achieve the speed synchronization or constant ratio relationship between them. The shunt collecting valve has both the function of the shunt valve and the collecting valve.


The shunt valve accuracy is generally 2%, meaning that when the stroke of two cylinders are 1m, when one of the cylinders reaches the end of the stroke, the other cylinder is within 20mm from the end of the stroke. Or when one of the cylinders reaches the position of 500mm, the other cylinder is within the range of 500±10mm (on the premise of meeting the requirements of the use of the valve).
