The working principle of mechanical harvester

Oct 15, 2023

The harvester is an integrated machine for harvesting crops. The grain is harvested and threshed in one go, and the grain is collected into the storage bin, and then transferred to the transport vehicle via the conveyor belt. It can also be harvested manually, laying the straw of rice, wheat, and other crops in the field, and then picking up the threshing with grain harvesting machinery. Crop harvesting machinery for harvesting grains and stalks of cereal crops such as rice and wheat. Including harvesters, cutters, balers, grain combine harvesters, and grain threshers. Grain harvesting machinery is developed based on various harvesting and threshing tools.
Wheat combine harvester by the harvesting platform, conveying device, threshing device, separation device, cleaning device, grain box, engine, transmission device, walking device, hydraulic system, electrical system, control device, cab, and other self-propelled combine structure conveying device: conveying device mainly screw conveyor, scraper conveyor and throwing machine three kinds.

The working principle of conveying device
(1) The working principle of the screw conveyor: the screw conveyor is mainly used to transport grains and miscellaneous, which is characterized by a simple structure and can achieve horizontal, inclined, and vertical transportation, and its application is more extensive. For example, the grain mixing in the combine, the miscellaneous mixing, and the uniform mixing in the grain box are all horizontal pushing and mixing, and the mixing in the unloading bucket is the mixing in the inclined direction.
(2) The working principle of the scraper transporter: it can transport grains and ears. It can be inclined to transport, or it can be transported vertically
Send, the general inclination is not greater than 45 degrees. The scraper conveyor consists of a sleeve chain with two wings. The rubber scraper is installed on it and runs in the conveying housing.
(3) The working principle of the lifter: the lifter, also known as the millet, is composed of an impeller, a shell, and a pipeline. It is usually mounted on the shaft at the outlet end of the screw conveyor.

The working principle of the harvester

When the harvester is half-fed into the combine harvester for harvesting operations, the harvester is first inserted into the crop, the crop comb is straightened to the cutting table, and the auxiliary harvester device (star wheel or rubber finger transmission belt, etc.) is used to assist the plucking, which is cut by the cutting device. After the crop is cut off, the conveyor chain of the cutting table will then transport the crop to the intermediate conveyor device, the intermediate conveyor gripper chain will gradually change the vertical state of the straw into a horizontal state, and the gripper transport to the threshing drum feeding end, to the threshing clamp chain, along the drum axial part of the ear head into the drum for threshing. In the process of axial movement of the crop along the drum, the head of the ear is constantly brushed and impacted by the bow teeth of the drum, and the grain is removed. The removed seeds fall into the cleaning device through the screen hole of the concave plate and are cleaned by the shaking plate and the airflow of the fan. The clean grain is sent to the grain bin or bagged by the grain screw conveyor. The broken stalks and broken ears are discharged from the main threshing drum to the auxiliary drum for secondary threshing. The debris is discharged out of the machine by the auxiliary drum exhaust port; The threshed stalks are always discharged from the drum outlet by the gripper chain and fall on the gravity stacking device for quantitative stacking. Some machines install a stalk shredding device in the stalk row and chop the stalk back to the field. The outlet end of the feeder is connected to the shaft.
