Safety precautions for hydraulic equipment and systems

Feb 29, 2024

Precautions for the use of medium oil:
The use of substandard medium oils can lead to failure or damage
1: Only the specified hydraulic oil is allowed.
2: It is forbidden to use different types of hydraulic oil, and it is forbidden to mix or mix hydraulic oil with lubricating oil.
3: Hydraulic oil within the viscosity range specified in the technical specifications should be used.
4: Keep the cleanliness of the hydraulic oil within the range set by the technical specifications. Continuous mechanical use of impure hydraulic oil can lead to equipment failure and damage.
5: The hydraulic oil will deteriorate in use, and the hydraulic oil should be replaced regularly.
6: Add the oil into the machine from the specified refueling port to avoid mixing water or debris.
7: Excessive drop in oil level may cause damage or failure. The storage capacity of the equipment should be maintained between the maximum and minimum oil levels.
8: You can use soap to clean oil stains on the skin. Oil on the skin often causes rough skin. Care should be taken not to spill the oil onto others.
9: When the oil temperature is too high, it will cause combustion, and the oil temperature can be reduced by changing the oil.
Note: Since many hydraulic oils have the risk of fire, welding and use of open flame are prohibited around the equipment and operating system to avoid fire, especially pressure vessels and pipelines with pressure welding.
