The hydraulic pump, oil tank, temperature control, filter, and accumulator, 5 components, constitute the hydraulic pump station.
(1) Selection of fuel tank. According to the specific conditions of different systems, choose the appropriate tank capacity, specifications, and accessories to give full play to the role of the tank. It is necessary to ensure that the tank can effectively preserve the oil and reduce the heat during the operation of the components. In addition, it is best to separate and purify the exhaust gas and corresponding impurities in the oil.
(2) Selection of tubing. The type of tubing is selected according to the working pressure that the environmental conditions and the hydraulic system can withstand. Steel pipes are often used for easy assembly of pressure pipes; Nylon pipe is still limited to the use of low-pressure pipelines, but there is also a wide range of application prospects. The connection of the two opposing parts is mainly made of rubber hoses. The fitting size is determined by the oil port size of the selected standard element.
(3) Installation of the accumulator. Energy storage should be installed in a place that is convenient for inspection, maintenance, and repair, and away from heat sources. The non-isolated accumulator and the skin accumulator are placed with the oil port down and the charging valve facing up.
(4) Layout of hydraulic pump group. The hydraulic pump, motor, coupling, and transmission base constitute a complete hydraulic pump group. The separation installation can effectively improve the suction performance of the hydraulic pump, and the pump group is placed on the foundation, and the pump station is placed under the liquid level of the tank.
(5) Tank structure design precautions.
The following points should be noted in the design of the tank structure:
① The oil absorption area and the oil return area inside the tank must be separated by a partition to increase the oil circulation route, reduce the speed of oil circulation, effectively separate the air and pollution introduced by the oil return, and increase the heat dissipation effect. The height of the partition board placed in the central position of the tank should be less than two-thirds of the height of the tank bottom to the liquid level. If the tank capacity is large, the structure of the upper and lower partitions should be used.
② The bottom of the tank should be properly inclined, and the oil plug should be installed in the lowest position. In order to facilitate washing, there should be a gap below the central position, so that the sediment of the place where the oil is absorbed reaches the side of the oil return and is finally discharged.
③ The suction pipe mouth must be far away from the return pipe mouth. The distance from the return pipe mouth to the bottom of the box should be greater than or equal to 3 times the diameter of the pipe, and the pipe section should be made into a 45° diagonal, which is also designed to facilitate heat dissipation and deposition of impurities.
④ The leaking tubing of the system must be inserted into the tank alone. The leakage tubing of all kinds of control valves and instruments must be above the liquid level, in order not to inhale air; the relevant leakage tubing should be led below the liquid level.
⑤ The above of the tank should be set up to filter the air, so that in the case of sealing above the tank, the liquid level of the tank should be communicated with the atmosphere from beginning to end. The fuel tank should have strength and stiffness, usually using 2~5 mm steel plate to weld, large capacity needs to introduce a skeleton. The side of the tank should be installed with a level indicator, and it is best to install a thermometer at the same time to better monitor the oil level. The inner side of the oil tank should increase the oil-resistant protective film to achieve the purpose of not polluting.
(6) Selection of fuel tank accessories. Includes options for air filter, oil filter at the suction line, cooler, and heater. The air filter is connected to the atmosphere. In order to avoid dust entering the atmosphere, the air filter is generally determined according to the accuracy of the flow meter filter of the pump. To reduce component loss and throttling hole is not smooth and other problems, remove the large impurities in the hydraulic oil, install a certain accuracy of the oil filter in the system, generally choose those with small resistance, simple structure, large oil flow capacity, easy cleaning, and other advantages of the oil suction pipe filter, such as the WU mesh filter. Coolers to take away a lot of heat, need to have enough heat dissipation area, choose those with small pressure loss, compact structure, durable, small footprint, easy to handle the cooler.
(7) Material selection of pipelines. According to the highest working pressure of the system, the maximum flow rate to select the selection for pipeline materials. The hydraulic system is a medium and high-pressure system, which needs to ensure the safety of operation and the durability of the system. The pipes and joints should be selected with high strength, good sealing, small loss value, and easy disassembly.
